We should be responsible for our own actions primarily.   Share:
Thrust of argument: Facing a nasty, racist, self-righteous, Israel-flag-waving dickhead, long ago, Chomsky defended himself by saying 'we should be responsible for our own actions primarily'. Direction of resistance / implied resistance: Chomsky then went on, in this recording, to say that 'we should give much more attention to one priest who we've killed than to a hundred priests that they've killed'.

Removal of resistance: When you do stuff, in life, what you do has repercussions. Unification: You cannot see the future, but you can see the things coming at you. You cannot see what you don't know how to look at, but you can keep your eyes open and look at whatever you are able to see.

The absurd classicism and formalism which continues to haunt Britain is holding too many people back from accepting that they can think for themselves and be intelligent and do not need rigid ordained structures and concepts to build their lives around.

Hollywood's America is just as mad as the classicism of the Romans and the British Empire's.

Stop being mesmerised by it. It's an insanely backward con. Look at the world with open eyes instead and take responsibility for your actions. Don't hang your world on the shape created by Hollywood. It's your life, not theirs, and you pay for the mistakes they make, not them.
