Handing 30% of Europe's arable land over to GMO monster companies.   Share:
Thrust of argument: Frederic Mousseau writes 'The stakes around Ukraine's vast agricultural sector - the world's third-largest exporter of corn and fifth-largest exporter of wheat - could not be higher. Ukraine is known for its ample fields of rich black soil, and the country boasts more than 32 million hectares of fertile, arable land - the equivalent of one-third of the entire arable land in the European Union.' Direction of resistance / implied resistance: You'd think that the Guardian would be standing up to speak out against this.

Removal of resistance: But they are not. They are so patriotic and zealous and anti-Russian that they are not bothering to tell you what Monsanto and others are going to do to that 30% of Europe's arable land. Unification: Once it is destroyed, it's destroyed - you are unlikely to get it back Europe. If you value your children's future and the food they will need to eat - do something. Stand up to the corporations, idiots.

Click here to read about Shams Pirani, the editor and chief author on this grid - note, if you can actually prove anything written above wrong, I would gladly, if the proof is sufficient, correct what I've written and what I think - if I could, however, prove your attempted proof wrong, then I would accordingly say so and maintain whatever point of view is completely based on fact and proof.
